Granite City Tool Repair Center can repair practically any tool. We are an Authorized Service Repair Center in the Stone Industry for Industrial Tools. We have a warehouse of parts on hand to fix most of the tools that are in our current catalog. We have quick turnaround on repairs and are confident that you will be satisfied with the tool(s) you send to our facility.
In general, all tools sent in to be fixed will be automatically fixed if repair costs are equal or less than half the cost of a new tool, according to Granite City Tool's current catalog, unless specifically noted by a customer. Any tool repairs costing over 50% of list price, will be handled with an estimate and confirmation from the customer to fix the tool.
Any tool that is not fixed, or not repairable will be charged a $34.95 inspection and handling fee. At that time, unless noted previously by the customer, the customer will be contacted and given the choice to have the tool(s) returned or recycled.

**All Freight charges incurred to return the tool(s) to the customer will be the customer's responsibility.

Terms and Conditions of Tool Repairs at Granite City Tool
Granite City Tool (GCT) appreciates’ the opportunity to repair the tool(s) you are submitting. GCT's Repair Center (GCTR) will be inspecting and repairing the tool(s) you requested by completing appropriate estimates or repairs to the tool(s) in a way that is consistent with standards in the Stone Industry. Please understand that not every tool may be repairable, but it is GCT's intention to provide you with the services you have requested. The following terms and conditions will apply as stated below. If you do not comply with these, do not send your tool(s) in for repair.>
All estimates and repairs will be conducted in conjunction with relevance to the Stone Industry standards. Any estimates provided to a customer will instantly become invalid after the tool is returned to the customer.
• All tools received will be repaired up to half the cost of a new tool from GCT's current catalog, WITHOUT an estimate. This pricing is based on average repair charges performed on industrial grade tools in the stone industry. Please note the actual repair charges could vary for tools needing only minor repairs versus major repairs.
• If the tool(s) cannot be within the value range of half the cost of a new tool from GCT's current catalog, the tool(s) will be returned, or discarded upon the customer's request. The customer will be responsible for an Inspection Fee and Freight charged by GCTR. An Inspection Fee will be charged for every tool sent to GCTR. The tool(s) will not be reassembled. Upon return of the repaired tool(s), the customer agrees and understands the following:
o The tool(s) have not been repaired by Granite City Tool Repair Center and are being returned to the customer. The tool(s) may contain Faults or Defects. The tool(s) may not be in good working order. It is recommended that the tool(s) be serviced or repaired prior to using it for the purpose it was intended, or to dispose of the unrepaired tool(s). Upon receipt of the tool(s), the customer assumes all risk of liability, injury, or loss occurred out of use of the tool(s) by the customer, its employees, or any third parties.
• All unrepaired tools will be returned, or picked up at the customer's expense, or the tool(s) will be discarded/ recycled after 90 days. All fees and costs of repairs must be paid before the tool(s) will be returned to the customer. No legal responsibility will be bestowed to GCT at this point.
• If you have any questions concerning the terms of service as shown, please contact Granite City Tool.
• GCT is not financially liable for any realized/unrealized loss of business, income or down time while their tool is being repaired.
Freight Policy on Tool Repair at Granite City Tool
All Tool Repair orders unless otherwise stated by a GCT representative, the customer will pre-pay for any freight costs associated with the delivery of tool(s) to a destination. Any additional charges or services incurred in transit or at the destination will be the responsibility of the customer. Effective immediately, title and risk of loss will pass to the customer upon delivery of their tool(s) to the common carrier.
Granite City Tool reserves the right, at any time to change its ordering and billing procedures for Tool Repairs effective upon posting on our website. (www.granitecitytool.com)
